Thanks to CNES for this mark of confidence in MaiaSpace’s ambition to provide France and Europe with the first reusable and eco-responsible mini-launch vehicle. Introducing to the France2030 launch service contract an obligation of results is a real shift of paradigm, perfectly in line with the evolution of the space sector governed with industrial and market logics.

This is what MaiaSpace is all about: self-financing the development of an innovative and sustainable launch vehicle following the most industrial and commercial pragmatic approaches. Leveraging on unique European expertise, notably that of our mother company ArianeGroup, while maintaining the speed, agility and culture of risk of a start-up makes us more confident than ever in our goal to start commercial exploitation of the Maia launcher in 2026.

With a performance ranging from 500 kg to more than 3 tons depending on the version used (reusable or expendable, with or without the optional Colibri kick-stage) and the targeted orbit, MaiaSpace is fully ready to achieve all the objectives planned in the France2030 demonstration contract for mini-launch service announced by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron in French Guiana.

And congratulation to all the other winners including HyPrSpace, Sirius Space Services, Latitude!
