French Minister Sebastien Lecornu's visit

Last Friday, March 15, MaiaSpace was extremely honored to welcome French Minister of the Armed Forces M. Sébastien Lecornu in the company’s facilities in Ville de Vernon (27200), where the Maia launcher is being developed. Also in the presence of the Prefect of Eure Simon Babre, the Head of DGA – Direction générale de l’armement Emmanuel Chiva and ArianeGroup CEO Martin Sion, Yohann Leroy explained how MaiaSpace is preparing the future of European space industry with the first reusable and eco-responsible mini launcher in Europe, including the recovery of the Main stage on a barge at sea.
Mastering such scalable and future-proof technologies that can be implemented on rockets of various sizes, will be key to guarantee France and Europe’s long-term sovereignty in its access to space.
